The .eco Community Organization is a Canadian not-for profit established in 2012 under the Canada not for profit corporations act. 

Its goal is to ensure that the .eco domain name ending is run in a way that helps the community’s goals of commitment and action in support of a respectful, responsible, and sustainable use of the environment.
